Hello Everyone - I am in Singapore right now and have been for the last 4 days. I have had a marvelous time so far and my trip has only just begun. To date I've had dinner with 16 of the most influential men in the U.S. Navy (Admirals and Generals- (I had a ball sharing stories about Uncle Steve's fashion styles from the 80's and about my upcoming Marlboro Racing School adventure), lunch with 17 of the most influential gossipers in Singapore (they call themselves the Tuesday Lunch Group), breakfast with an Orangutan and her baby at the zoo and I had the dubious honor of attending a 7 course Wine Tasking Dinner with the Napa Valley Wine Vintners Association of America- (I was very full and drunk after that event). Needless to say I have had quite a few exciting evenings. Everyday has been action packed and filled with amazing events of sightseeing and shopping. Danny has been on a Prada shoe-shopping mission while I've been uncharacteristically silent in commenting on his purchases (yeah right!). I've chosen to reframe from clothes shopping and wait until Indonesia to purchase my goodies. I guess he can get back at me then. Tomorrow we all head off to Jakarta for a meeting with the Ambassador there. We will do a little shopping and sightseeing for a day then we jetty off to Yogyakarta for the beginning of the luxurious Indonesian experience. After a few days in Yog., we are off to Bali for 5 days of massages and pampering. I hope I survive such torturous events! I'll write more once I'm in Bali if I still have a functioning spine. My love to everyone and see you all in a few weeks. Danielle
